Electronic Keyboards I -
This cutting edge class educates students on how to operate and program the Yamaha PSR-E403 electronic keyboard. Students will learn about synthesizer programming, sounds, rhythm loops, styles, effects, and technique. Please note that this is not a piano lesson class.
Electronic Keyboards II - (must have Electronic Keyboards I as prerequisite)
Students will build on the knowledge and skills learned in 7th grade and also learn about programming rhythm loops and styles. Recording projects are part of this class.
Grading:
Class Participation = 50% (See attached participation rubric for grading details)
Written Assessment = 25%
Performance Assessment = 25% (See attached participation rubric for grading details)
